Escher Inspiration

Inspired by the mesmerising art of M.C. Escher, this intricately designed calendar reflects the deep connection between whisky tasting and neuroscience. Two tiers — Single Cask and Premium — offered distinct journeys through impossible geometry.

The 2023 Christmas Advent Calendar drew inspiration from the impossible architectures of M.C. Escher, reflecting Whisky Brains' core philosophy that whisky tasting is as much a cerebral experience as a sensory one. The Escher-inspired patterns guided tasters on a journey of sensory discovery and cerebral delight. For the first time, two distinct tiers were offered: the Single Cask Whisky Selection (Set A) featuring rare single cask expressions, and the Premium Whisky Selection (Set B) with handpicked premium whiskies — each a unique path through the impossible staircase of flavour.
